- I have been a professional artist for many years. My husband Steve and I live in the country in southwest Virginia, and work in a wonderful studio behind our home that he built about 10 years ago. Art is a compulsion, an obsession for both of us...we need to see it, and make it, on a regular basis. Having followed other blogs for over a year, which has been very interesting and inspirational, the desire to get our creative efforts out to others is resulting in this blog. Steve has had a long career in the construction trade, painting in his spare time . Recently he has been able to spend more time on his work and will be posting occasionly as well.
