Island

This painting was started many years ago, then stored away. Last year Steve brought it out for a facelift. One of his series of landscape paintings, I wish he would do more of!!!

The Old Homeplace

This is the old Bernard homeplace, from the back where a wonderful garden was always in progress during the warm months. A small painting, it brings back memories of many many wonderful times over the years.

Willis

Willis was part of a goat family living next door...he was a very distinguished and fragrant fellow. He has gone on to his reward, but will not be forgotten.

Emily Ponders

This painting was started in 2003, then put away...recently I pulled it from storage and finished it, when my brother expressed interest in having it. This is his daughter Emily, here on a visit, standing out by the studio one early summer day.

Can't You See I'm Working?

This painting of our studio mascot of many years, Cosmo, was done for a benefit for the SPCA in Roanoke. Happy to say it was sold... such a great cause. Cosmo follows the sun around various rugs throughout the day, he is quite serious about this pursuit.

Studio Flora

This abstract was inspired by the various plants around the studio... the first painting of 2011, painted after New years.
